The DSC PT1000 is a differential scanning calorimeter which was developed to provide a general purpose TM-DSC. It works with a broad temperature range of -150 – 725°C for all common applications. The device is engineered to ensure a stable baseline and efficient reproducibility. Manual and automatic operation is also allowed due to the design of the calorimeter. The manufacturing process applied in its cell ensures enhanced mechanical and chemical resistance. The device is equipped with either an MR12 or an HR24 sensor. The former, which consists of 120 thermocouples arranged in a row, has a glass ceramic design which ensures a high resolution and sensitivity. The latter, which features 240 thermocouples, combines heat flux & power compensation for improved resolutions and sensitivity.
