For truly high tonnage applications Lippmann created the 5860LP impactor. The largest of Lippmann’s primary impactor models, the 5860 portable plant allows operators to reach tonnages that are typically reserved for stationary applications
Rotor Assembly:
Fabricated semi enclosed rotor consisting of:
Large alloy shaft.
(Four) backing beams and welded retainers.
(Four) replaceable wear resistant hammers, 5” thick.
(Twenty) Hammer shoe assemblies with jacking bolts for secure hammer retention.
(Three) flip Hammer for maximum hammer utilization.
(Two) 8” self-aligning pillow block bearings, Dodge.
The bearings are protected by Non-rupturable Labyrinth seals.
The rotor is balanced in the factory to insure smooth operation.
Crusher Frame:
Upper and lower crusher frames constructed of 3/4” plate.
Replaceable 1 1/4” wear resistant alloy steel frame liners.
(Two) crusher opening cylinders with hydraulic pump.
(Two) safety pins to hold upper frame open for maintenance
Rotor pin and holder to keep rotor from turning during service.
Breaker Plates:
(Two) adjustable breaker plates to accommodate uncrushable material and to adjust the setting.
The lower breaker plate setting is maintained by (two) high strength preloaded coil springs.
The weight of the upper curtain maintains the setting.
Breaker plate curtains constructed of plate.
Replaceable 2 ½” wear resistant alloy steel breaker plate liners.
Sheaves:
The crusher sheave is statically balanced for smooth operation.
