Description

The PICO® 305 Series offers a range of encapsulated fuses approved under the UL913 standard for Intrinsically Safe Electrical Equipment to operate in hazardous locations. It is ideal for use in the oil, gas, mining, chemical, pharmaceutical, food/beverage processing industries; it was designed to limit the energy and heat generated during its operation. In addition to UL913, these fuses meet ATEX and IECEx requirements. Features: • Sealed, encapsulated design • Well suited for 277V applications • Current rating options from 50mA to 750mA • Designed for operation in a range of hazardous environments • High Interrupting Rating. Meets the 1500A minimum Benefits: • The fuse encapsulation prevents heat and sparks from being exposed to hazardous dusts and gases in the environment • Eliminates the need for additional potting, epoxy, or encapsulation processes for the fuse, thereby reducing total product cost • Increases overall safety of the apparatus, which enhances protection of human life in hazardous operating environments Applications: • Testing, measuring or processing electronic and electrical equipment • Motor controllers • Lighting • Communication handsets • Flow meters • Process control and automation equipment • Sensors
