Description

The TMR Switch is a digital magnetic switch that integrate Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) and CMOS technology in order to provide a magnetically triggered digital switch with high sensitivity, and ultra-low power consumption. It contains TMR magnetic sensor and CMOS signal processing circuitry within the same package, including an on-chip TMR voltage generator for precise magnetic sensing, a TMR voltage amplifier and comparator plus a Schmitt trigger to provide switching hysteresis for noise rejection. An internal band gap regulator is used to provide a temperature compensated supply voltage for internal circuits, permitting a wide range of supply voltages. It is available in the package SOT23-3. Features and Benefits: • TMR Technology supports Bop of 5 or 7 or 10 or 14 or 17 Gauss available • Ultra-Low Power Consumption: 200nA at 50 Hz response or 1.5 uA at 1 kHz response • X-axis or Z-axis sensing directions available. • Unipolar or Omnipolar or Bipolar (latching) operating modes available • Excellent Thermal Stability • Open Drain or Push Pull output available • SOT23-3 package Applications: • Proximity Switches • Utility Meters including Gas, Water and Heat Meters • Position and Speed Sensing • Motor and Fan Control • Solid State Switches
