Protective industrial cabinet for computer hardware Designed to house a whole computer workstation: flat screen, base unit, keyboard and mouse Characteristics: • - The body of the cabinet is a single, thermoplastic form, meaning the front and sides are a single structure; • - 10 mm thick extruded composite panels; • - Smooth surface, no sharp corners, facilitating cleaning and preventing the build-up of dirt; • - Separate upper and lower compartments: to allow cables to enter the cabinet via an opening in the monitor mounting screen; • - Two inlets fitted with air grilles and air filters for ventilating the cabinet; • - Cable glands (80 mm diameter) located on the right hand side panel of the cabinet; • - Cabinet can be attached to the wall (without supports). Monitor and Base Unit compartment: • - Front access panel via roller-blinds in a 6 mm thick transparent PMMA screen on two polyamide hinges; • - Opening and closing the compartment using a pin-latch on a peripheral leaktight seal; • - Retaining hook holding the screen-based shutter in the "open" position for interventions on to the computer hardware. Keyboard and mouse compartment: • - Front access panel via roller-blinds in a 6 mm thick transparent PMMA screen on two polyamide hinges; • - Opening and closing the compartment using a pin-latch on a peripheral leaktight seal; • - 19 mm thick sliding shelf on two double section steel slides.
