HexSight™ Software: LMI Technologies continues the HexSight legacy by adding powerful extensions and porting HexSight for use in embedded products. Version 4.0 for PC platforms has now been released by LMI and combines color based geometric pattern matching with the existing and already comprehensive machine vision library for inspection. The new powerful Locator tool now uses the full color spectrum while it accurately locates objects, regardless of their shape, size, rotation, non-linear lighting, occlusions, clutter, and contrast reversal. HexSight also includes the Process Manager, which easily strings together multiple HexSight tools for rapid prototyping that can be customized for each application.
