ATEX heating jacket

for IBC containers

LMK Thermosafe are pleased to present their hazardous area heating jacket for IBC’s. This ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 and 2 rated jacket uses a completely new and proprietary design. IBC Inteliheat Heating JacketIt is constructed with custom elastomer and silicone coated glass cloth materials and high density fibreglass insulation. The heating medium uses a patented technology of carbon rich semi-conducting positive temperature coefficient membranes. Safe operating conditions are maintained even in the presence of potentially explosive gases. Heating rates are similar or better than our “safe area” IBC2 high power flexible heating jacket, and temperatures up to typically 55°C can be achieved. No transformers are required as it operates using standard ac supply voltages. The InteliHeat is designed for use with plastic liner, metal frame IBCs. However it may also be used to heat 4x205L drums. An LMK Insulated lid may be used to reduce heat loss and improve heating times.
