VDA RL-KLT stackable plastic containers The RL-KLT boxes or small load carriers are single-walled injected plastic crates, and one of the most popular VDA-standard options. They are commonly used for loads up to 20 kg and are suitable for both manual and automated handling. Their particularity is the smooth base with water drainage perforations, designed as a safety measure in case of fire – allowing water from a sprinkler system to penetrate all the layers in a stack, and put out the fire. VDA RL-KLT containers are designed for intensive use. A robust base frame and the reinforcements on the exterior of the walls grant excellent stability when containers are stacked. Due to the Euro standardization, they can be used by mixing two or more dimensions in any combination, ensuring a stable modular stack. Multiple stacks can be assembled on Euro pallets, used with trolleys, dollies, or racking. RL-KLT VDA standard crates come with all possible accessories: lids or covers, internal dividers, external markings, injected label holders for labeling or barcoding for quick inventory and identification, etc. They work very well on conveyor lines and can be operated by automated machines, such as lifting jacks, due to the specially designed features on the walls. For manual handling, the deep-reaching handles provide a good and comfortable grip for the operators.
