The Grindlux is an automated band grinder manufactured by Logosol. It sharpens the bandsaw blades completely and instantly. A feeder arm feeds the blade forwards, and a clamp, which is fitted to the blade, turns the machine off when the blade has been sharpened in one turn. It can be adjusted for tooth rake angle, gullet depth and take off. Maintaining the good condition of the bandsaw blades is necessary. They will be used for a long time if the user changes blade after having cut 10-20 logs, and recondition the blade that has been used. The user can execute cleaning and rust protecting the blades with the use of oil. In addition, the cutting teeth of the unit should always be sharp.
