As one of the first commercially available UV laser marking machines, the Meta-C UV is able to mark practically anything. Designed to serve the commercial and industrial sectors, built with our time-tested Meta-C chassis, with a projected working life of over 15 years. Harsh Environments Capable of operating in greater variations of temperature, humidity, and dust than other systems, the Meta-C UV incorporates Siemens PLC electronics and is always triple quality checked. Insane Endurance Created with the longest lifespan in mind, even the pneumatic door is designed to handle 10,000’s cycles, and the laser 100,000 hours typical MTBF (mean time before failure). Solid Chassis Built to withstand knocks and heavy use, coming out through the other side with full functionality. Meta-C UV is built with military-grade aluminium and could take the weight of a small truck.* The UV laser uses "cold processing" to mark materials, ensuring that there is no thermal damage to the marked object. This makes it ideal to mark materials which would usually be damaged by CO2 and Fibre lasers such as glass, crystal and wood as well as being able to mark most other materials as well. Using "cold Marking" also allows the laser to use a smaller wavelength creating perfect, much higher resolution marking with greater precision so that you can create marks of the highest quality.
