Description

RA-915M with PYRO-915+ attachment is a versatile tool for fast direct analysis of all kinds of solid, liquid, and biological samples from ppb level. Even the complex-matrix samples are analyzed ‘as is’ without pre-treatment. No reagents or compressed gases are required. The routine analysis takes 1–2 min. Programmable PYRO-915+ furnace enables optimal samples decomposition and study of the mercury thermospecies having various binding energy with a sample matrix. Direct thermal decomposition technique meets national and globally accepted standards such as ASTM D6722, D7622, EN/TS 17286, US EPA 7473, 30B, PS12B, SN/T 4429.2-2016, HJ 923-2017, and others. RA-915M analyzer can be used separately for real-time mercury measurement in ambient and indoor air. Other Lumex Instruments attachments are available to extend RA-915M functionality (RP-92 for Cold Vapor technique, RP-91NG for direct analysis of gases). PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION Direct thermal decomposition followed by atomic absorption spectrometry at 254 nm wavelength with Zeeman correction for background absorption makes interference-free measurements easy and quick. The technique ensures the most selective and sensitive analysis without matrix effects.
