1. Application: Preparationof medicines, pesticides, photographic materials, rubber additives, chemical fiber solvents, strong basic anion exchange resins, dye levellingagents, surface active agents and basic dyes.
2. Hazard statement(s): Extremely flammable gas. Contains gasunder pressure; may explode if heated. Harmful if inhaled. Causes skinirritation. Causes serious eye damage. May cause respiratory irritation.
3. Description of necessary first aid measures
If inhaled: If breathed in, move person into freshair. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.
In case of skin contact: Wash off with soap andplenty of water.
In case of eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plentyof water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
If swallowed: Not considered a normal route ofentry.
4. Storage: Store in well-ventilated place. Protect fromsunlight. Keep container tightly closed. Store locked up.
5. Firefighting Measures:
Suitable extinguishing media: DO NOT EXTINGUISHBURNING GAS UNLESS LEAK CAN BE STOPPED SAFELY. OTHERWISE: LEAVE GAS TO BURN.
FOR SMALL FIRE: Drychemical, CO2 or water spray to extinguish gas (only if absolutelynecessary and safe to do so). DO NOT use water jets.
FOR LARGE FIRE: Coolcylinder by direct flooding quantities of water onto upper surface until wellafter fire is out. DO NOT direct water at source of leak or venting safetydevices as icing may occur.
