The ZENTRUM-200Q horizontal boring and milling machine is designed to handle heavy-duty machining tasks.
This machine could be configured with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controls for the most friendly commencement and shop-wide integration.
The quill and spindle transmission design, heavily ribbed casting structure, and detail-oriented building procedures were all fitted to provide confidence and consistent result in heavy cutting.
The 200mm quill diameter was specifically designed and manufactured for stable heavy milling results when the quill was fully extended.
Massive, over 1000Nm torque was produced at the spindle to handle a large variety of materials.
The overall machine structure was design to withstand the stress of heavy parts in the energy industry such as fracking components, large valve components, and wind turbine housings.
Cut heavy with 200 mm Quill
ZENTRUM-200Q are equipped with a quill of 200mm in diameter. The large size quill allows stable performance in cutting results especially for big bore cutting for fracking parts, valve parts, or big engine housings. Based on Japanese structural design, the spindle transmission and quill are assembled as one unit. Thus allowing stable output of power with minimal vibration.
Reach deep with extension of 400mm in spindle stroke
Because of the unique structure and sheer size of the quill spindle, the 200Q's spindle structure and saddle mass is working for the spindle as a whole. Thus, when fully extended at 400mm, the spindle will cut with a result as good as when it was fully retracted.
