ADVANCED WIRE TENSIONING SYSTEM The AWT (Advanced Wire Tensioning) system is our innovative and patented solution for CNC hot wire foam cutters. The automatic wire tensioning system maintains proper tension of the cutting wire throughout the cutting process. This is crucial for achieving the best results. Spring or pneumatic tensioners don’t ensure perfect tension due to their limited range of operation. Typically, this range is from 0 to 20 cm, which isn’t sufficient for machines with long wire, longer than 150 cm. The LYNX AWT system provides unlimited and constant tension, even if the wire is longer than 30 cm, 50 cm, or even more.
