DIRECT DRIVE TECHNOLOGY
FAST AND NEAT
Direct Drive technology is a 3D printing configuration : the extruder motor is placed directly above the heater block.
The risk of friction and filament clutter is radically reduced. 3D printing is more efficient, more agile and clean.
METAL AND FLEXIBLE FILAMENTS
The FIL21 Direct Drive toolhead associated with the S600D industrial 3D printer opens up to new material families:
Metal/ceramic filaments: Alumina, Zirconia, 316L. Example on the left of a dispersing blade from Zetamix-Nanoé.
Flexible filaments with a new range of hardness (ShoreA 65) : TPU, TPE, TPC, …
3D Printing is precise, fast and easy.
HIGH-SPEED OUTPUT
Thanks to the Direct Drive 3D printing technology, the FIL21 makes 3D printing more reliable: it then creates a significant gain in speed thanks to friction reduction and throughput increase.
The FIL21 can also print wider and denser layers, which leads to a reduction in the number of printing layers and thus to additional time savings.
EASY AND CONVENIENT
– Internal: The material is stored in the machine, the spool is heated and remains dry, perfectly suitable for brittle and soft filaments.
– External: The material can be extruded in large capacity with double drive for thermoplastic filaments.
PRINTING FLEXIBLE AND METAL/CERAMIC FILAMENTS
The development of the FIL21 toolhead boost the implementation speed of 3D printing with a simplified and faster profiling of materials.
