Lytrons standard tubed cold plates are cost-effective thermal solutions. The device is designed to be used for component cooling applications where the heat load varies from low-to-moderate. The tubes are made using material like copper or stainless steel tubes that are pressed into a channeled aluminum extrusion. Lytrons standard tubed cold plates are manufactured using Lytrons proprietary Press-Lock technology. Under this process, the tubes are mechanically locked into the aluminum plate. Press-lock technology removes the requirement of using performance-limiting epoxy between the tube and the plate. It helps in providing better thermal performance.
