The outside of the baseball bump cap is constructed of poly/cotton, and a separate, hard plastic polyethylene (PE) shell cap insert encircles top, front and both sides of head, which includes corresponding holes for cooling ventilation and foam padding against head to enhance comfort and a polyethylene insert.
