Manoir Industries is positioned as a world leader for horizontal and vertical centrifugal steel casting.
Centrifugal casting is a foundry technique. The principle is to pour liquid steel into a cylindrical mould rotating at high speed. This technology makes it possible to obtain tubes with unequalled properties. Manoir Industries operates about 40 horizontal centrifugal machines for tubes, ranging from 40 mm to 1.6 m in diameter, and up to 7 m in length, in all grades, which are produced for the following areas of the petrochemical market:
Reforming
Cracking
Direct reduction of iron (DRI)
The manifolds made of Manaurite® 900 have T-sections with a maximum weight of 400 kg. These are obtained by vertical centrifugation using permanent moulds.
The cones and liners dedicated to steam cracking furnace outlets are also obtained by vertical centrifugation.
