MGS-1800 AC Current Transducer Three-Phase
4-20 mA True-RMS
The Magnelab MGS-1800 AC Current Transducer Three-Phase Series integrator and 4 to 20 mA Transducer (signal conditioner) converts the RopeCT (Rogowski Coil) input voltage to 4 – 20 mA DC output. The transducer requires a DC loop power supply which operates from 8 to 35 Vdc. The transducer is available with screw terminals for ease of installation.

MGS-1800 | Description
Magnelab’s MGS-1800 is a three-phase Rogowski coil (rope CT) with a 4-20 mA DC output. Essentially, it is an integrator, AC current transducer or signal conditioner that is designed to convert the Rogowski coil input voltage to a DC output of 4 to 20 milliamperes. In order to function properly, the transducer has to use a DC loop power supply, which can operate from 8 to 35 volts DC. The flexible CT device comes with integrated screw terminals. This allows it to be easily and safely installed. The MGS-1800 is very different from the MGC-1000 AC Current Sensor with 5 Amp Output, which is a single phase AC current sensor that converts AC current ranging from 30 to 300 amperes to an AC current output.
The MGS-1800 features include the fact that it is ideal for distorted waveforms, because it delivers true RMS measurement. Furthermore, the device is self powered from the 4 to 20 mA loop.
