The Type 40 series from Marsh Bellofram is a reliable air-adjustable regulator that is especially designed for instrumentation and general purposes. The regulator is carefully designed and selected from quality construction materials that secures long and worry-free operation. This includes die-cast aluminum casing coated with scratch and weather resistant paint. It is also composed of a rubberized, soft steel valve stem which ensures positive shut-off and clears dirt and other foreign matter. The gauge port is accessible for gauge installation, which can be also used as an added full flow outlet. Tests have been conducted to prove that the regulator performs very well and in the following areas: the regulated pressure vs. flow, forward-to-reverse flow offset, supply pressure sensitivity, repeat-ability and stability.
