Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) technology continuously measures the levels, volume or ullage process temperatures that range up to 200°C. King-gage® LevelWav guided wave radar level transmitter will offer measurements of liquids and solids. The measurement itself is going to be independent of the changes in dielectric constant, temperature, pressure as well as density. It can prove very suitable for a broad array of level measurement and also control applications. This can be inclusive of process conditions that are exhibiting visible foam, vapours, surface agitation, high pressure and/or temperature. Based on the TDR, the guided wave radar will propagate pulses of microwave energy down a probe that extends into the contents of the tank. The King-Gage LevelWAV proves efficient in a space that is confined and in tanks that have internal structures, with accuracy levels going to within ± 0.6 inch (± 15 mm).
