This catalogue describes external gear modular pumps, their specifications and how to select the right pump. It includes tables on modular single stages belonging to micropumps (family 0.25 and 0.5), ALP series (family 1, 2, 3 and 4) and GHP series (family 1, 2 and 3). A multiple pump is given by a set of modular stages assembled together. ALP, GHP and micropump parts can be assembled together depending on the required application. The pumps ar e hydraulic machines converting mechanical power into hydraulic power. This section deals with rotary positive displacement pumps. In this type of pump, a given volume of fluid flows from inlet to outlet at each shaft rotation (theoretical displacement). Pressure depends on delivery line resistance to fluid flow. As gear pumps only transfer fluid, they are subject to pressure generated by the circuit. Therefore, if system flow rate and motor rotation speed are known, it is easy to select the right pump displacement and its model.
