The Mayfran provides a range of solutions for central chip handling systems that are based on steel belt screw and drag conveyor technology. These give the ability to handle all types of chip and coolant situations and transportation and chips and coolants to central load out or local processing systems, plus filtration systems. The steel belt conveyors are perfectly suited for reduced coolant content and bushy or broken chips. Pitch sizes of 2.5 (63mm), 4 (100mm), 6 (150mm) and 9 (225mm) are mainly used for the handling of chips based on expected load. The unique design incorporates perforation, dimples and reinforcements all of which are available to meet demanding applications. The drag link conveyor, or scraper conveyor, is suited for fine and broken chips with greater coolant content, which is similar to steel belt conveyors. Screw conveyors are perfect for metering the chip load to the processing equipment and can handle broken and fine chips as well.
