Essentially, this rotary union seeks to serve one purpose-to feed a number of different mediums from stationary lines into rotating machine sections. It has in integrated slip ring that ensures that power transmission and any other electric signals are transmitted flawlessly.
When combined, there is a single slip ring that is fitted onto the rotary union for all the signals. This rotary union has four options when it comes to the passages (2, 4, 6 and 8). These passages could either be 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm or 18mm in diameter. For air, the maximum allowed pressure is 6 bar while the maximum for oil is 50 bar. For vacuum, this value is at -0.95 bar. The rotating speed should not exceed 500 rpm and the torque should be kept at 0.3 à 1 N.m. The optional slip ring supports 6, 12, 18, 24, 36 or 56 circuits.
