ISI Shielded Standoffs are constructed with high purity alumina ceramic, low expansion NiFe transition metal and stainless steel fastening and shielding hardware. Fastening cap screws and threaded studs are drilled through to allow venting inside a vacuum system. Although applications are extremely general, these components were specifically designed for use within vacuum deposition coating environments requiring electrical isolation up to 12kV-DC, deposition shielding, mechanical strength and high vacuum performance.
