The USB-2500 Series of high-speed USB data acquisition (DAQ) boards features synchronous analog, digital and counter/timer functions and support for quadrature encoders. Up to four analog outputs are available.
The USB-2500 Series offers high-speed, multifunction data acquisition in alow-cost, board-only design. Each board offers synchronous and concurrent voltage input, temperatureinput, waveform output, counter input, quadrature encoder input, timeroutput, and digital I/O.Everything necessary to begin acquiring, viewing, and storing data is includedwith the USB-2500 Series, including comprehensive software support.
USB-2500 Series devices feature a16-bit/1 MHz A/D converter, up to64 analog inputs, up to four 16-bit, 1 MHzanalog outputs, 24 high-speed digital I/O,2 timer outputs, and four 32-bit counters. All analog I/O, digital I/O, and counter/timer I/O can operate synchronously andsimultaneously, guaranteeing deterministicI/O among all signal types.
Unique to the USB-2500 Series is a lowlatency, highly deterministic controloutput mode that operates independentof the PC. In this mode digital, analog, and timer outputs can respond to analog, digital, and counter inputs as fastas 2 µs; at least 1,000 times faster thanother products that rely on the PC fordecision making.
Analog Input
The USB-2500 Series has a 16-bit,1 MHz A/D coupled with 16 single-ended,8 differential analog inputs (USB-2523and USB-2527 models), or 64 singleended/32 differential analog inputs(USB-2533 and USB-2537 models). The analog input ranges are softwareconfigurable. Each channel can be configured for a different range, as well asfor single-ended or differential bipolarinput, or thermocouple input.
