Mechanical gram gauges are low-cost instruments design to apply tension and compression via a leaf spring connected to a moving lever. The needle moves across a scale graduated in gf whilst pushing a slave pointer, which remains in position at the end of the test to indicate the maximum force. The DGD range of gram gauges features seven models, covering forces from 10 gf up to 1000 gf. Compact and lightweight, gram gauges are highly portable and are an ideal solution for any environment where simple low force measurement is required. Rated to an accuracy of ±2% of full scale (±2.5% for DGD-9 version).
