Description

To suit your materials testing requirements the twin-column OmniTest universal testing machine range is available in 3 models, 10 kN, 25 kN and 50 kN. These versatile universal testing systems are driven by Mecmesin’s powerful and intuitive VectorPro™ testing software, making them easy to use for implementing quality assurance standards across all industries. The PC-driven model has the flexibility to run the test routines on your choice of computer hardware and the OmniTest Touch model runs on a responsive touchscreen console. VectorPro Software VectorPro is at the heart of the OmniTest. It is an advanced force testing software package developed to perform tensile, shear, bend and compression tests on materials, components and products. VectorPro enables and stores test routines, acquires data from load sensors and displacement encoders then performs calculations on the data before generating test results for export and reporting. The twin-column OmniTest materials testers feature dual-columns containing twin-ballscrews, which drive a solid crosshead to which an ELS loadcell is attached. This ensures excellent rigidity and strength whilst their intuitive controls make them easy to use, even for novice operators. The construction of these twin-column materials testers provides the crosshead travel required for conducting high-elongation tensile tests whilst also delivering the strength capability for high-load break tests on rigid materials.
