Mecmesin sample holder is designed for food texture testing of samples that are normally difficult to grip and keep in place. It is ideal for samples of irregular or hard to grip shapes. The top and bottom plates have 3 sets, that are supplied with 5 mm, 10 mm and 15 mm apertures to maximize test flexibility. These plates can be easily interchanged using a hinge mechanism, providing ease and quickness of set up. The sample holder features Compression springs as support to the top plate. This Compression springs allow fine adjustment of its position, thus protects the delicate samples against pre-test damage.
