The MPNE is a modular system with digital and analog input/output and a Modbus RTU interface.
The MPNE1001 module has a Modbus RTU interface. The MPNE1001 manages data from modules and it intarfaces them on a Modbus RTU bus.
The MPNE1001 is part of a modular system composed of a base board and a maximum of two expansion modules, in order to get different configuration of inputs and outputs (digital and analog).
The base board has 16 digital lines and, if needed, it is possible to add two more expansion modules.
All modules can be hooked on a DIN rail EN 50022 (din35 - 4 DIN modules).
The Modbus RTU module interface MPNE1001 consists of:

3 status LEDs;
16 LEDs for the digital lines.

8 digital inputs (PNP 0-24Vdc). Two of them can be used to connect mono/bi-directional encoder.
8 digital input/output (PNP 0-24Vdc). For the relay output the ACIN01 product is needed.
There are some I/O in the device that can be managed with a more advanced logic than the simple use as inputs and outputs.
