The heated probes are suitable for sampling in emission where it is necessary to maintain a high temperature of the filter medium due to the presence of condensable substances in the gas to be sampled. They are made of stainless steel to ensure the necessary resistance to temperature and corrosion due to the aggressiveness of the gases in the flue. The temperature of the heated tube and the temperature in the external box are adjustable up to 200 °C and are independently controlled by the THERMO thermostat which is placed under the external box. The particular resistances used to heat the tube and the external box are in armoured stainless steel to guarantee a perfect operation even in presence of high humidity in the stack. The sampling line to be inserted in the heated probes is available in glass, quartz, titanium and stainless steel. To perform isokinetic sampling it is possible to use the Darcy tube with thermocouple.
