Description

•Mech. connection by ball coupling to compensate for the angular offset or free position sensor •Small space requirement without push rod •Measuring lengths from 50 mm to 4000 mm •Very precise due to high resolution and good linearity •Electromagnetic compatibility 2014/30 /EU (EMC) Robust construction and very precise in path measurement: These are the features of the PMS2 displacement sensor, which detects the position without contact in the measuring lengths of 50 to 4000 mm. Due to its excellent performance in terms of EMC immunity, the displacement sensor is suitable for use in electromagnetically disturbed industrial environments. Also to mention is the maximum ripple VSUP <1Vpp. In the displacement transducer series PMS2 the mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a guided or free cursor, in which magnets are casted in sealing compound. There is a choice of different cursor versions with ball joint, which compensate lateral offset or a free position sensor, which allows lateral offset up to ±2 mm. Several cursors can be used on one position sensor. This permits applications with critical shock or vibration influences.
