Description

• Monitoring functions maximise safety and ease of operation • Quick and easy to set up • Meets individual needs through a modular design • Either analogue or digital display of voltage and current • Available in four versions: 50, 80, 110, and 120 kV The HV Test Set series are portable high voltage test sets for DC voltage testing cables and cable installations in accordance with international standards. Available in four versions (50, 80, 110, and 120 kV), the HV Test Set series have a modular design, consisting of an operation unit and HV unit and are quick and easy to set up. Due to their small size and low weight, these test sets can easily be transported and used on-site. The series provides high output power combined with the modular and compact design, making them the most unique and safest systems on the market available. Standard HV test sets come with analogue meters, though Megger also offers the HV test sets with digital metering which allows for more precise current readings and voltage setting. The HV Test Set series are ideal for testing paper-insulated/mass-impregnated cables according to IEEE 400-2012 and IEC 60060-3, testing electrical equipment according to IEEE 62.1 and IEEE 95, and testing cable sheaths/outer jackets according to IEC 60502/IEC 60229.
