Because of their diversity profile planks with slotted surfaces are of flexible use. Large downward punched openings guarantee a good drainage, as well as high lighf transmiftance. An advanfage of profile planks with slotted surfaces is an extreme transverse stiffness by means of which a high point load is achieved. The planks can be manufactures as anti-slip with profile or smooth. Slotted profile planks are mainly used in industry, but can also be applied in public and private sectors. Further use can be found in shelf construction or as an aesthetic element in architecture. Stepplus 01 offers both very high transverse stiffness and sufficient anti-slip properties. In contrast to Stepplus N, however, the small embossed sections are not perforated. It has very effective drainage action and is used mainly in industrial areas, for example in flour mills or breweries.
