Product description
The MLX80002 is a two channel physical layer device for applications of low speed vehicle serial data network communication using the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) protocol.
The device is designed in accordance to the physical layer definition of the LIN Protocol Specification Package 2.x and the SAE J2602 standard.
Because of the very low current consumption of the MLX80002 in the recessive state it’s suitable for ECU applications with hard standby current requirements. An advanced sleep mode capability allows a shutdown of a complete master node. The included wake-up function detects incoming dominant LIN messages and enables the voltage regulator.
