These blades are made of carbide, being fastened on the working tool with screws. They represent the active part of the wood milling tools being replaced after the outworning of the cutting edge. Depending on their size, blades can have 2, 3 or 4 usable working edges. Milling blades are mainly used for cutting and shaping solid wood, and semifinished products processed from raw/coated chipboards and M.D.F. panels.
Milling blades have a high working capacity and durability, supporting 900-1000 °C heatings.
