The one-tyre drive axle solution enables you to carry more freight with a tank trailer setup. And the trailer tyre will carry bigger volumes. Your single fitment drive axle solution: MICHELIN X® ONE MULTI™ D 495/45 R22.5 will replace a 4-tyre twin fitment drive axle setup with just two tyres. So, with its 169 load index, you keep a load capacity on the axle of 11.5 tonnes and you gain up to 92 kg of load capacity on every journey. Likewise you reduce your fuel consumption by 0.5 L/100 km (compared with a MICHELIN X® ONE XDN2 GRIP™ 495/45 R22.5, internal source 2013). Handling and stability are assured. As demonstrated by the M+S and 3PMSF markings and the "B" European wet braking rating. More volume in your trailer: For a trailer fitted with 455/45 R22.5 tyres, moving to X® ONE MAXITRAILER+™ allows you to achieve extraordinary performance gains. Up to 50% longer service life and lower fuel consumption compared with MICHELIN X® ONE MAXITRAILER™ 455/45 R22.5 (internal test 2010). Load volume and weight are optimised with this unique solution, as are safety, stability and protection of the freight you carry, compared with the conventional 385/65 R22.5 solution.
