We have incorporated our Tiny Picomotor actuators with our popular pint-sized mirror mounts to get very fine resolution in an extremely small package, eliminating problems usually associated with small systems where there is little room to make adjustments and there is high sensitivity to adjustments by hand. •Ultra compact design •1.5 µrad angular resolution •Set-and-forget long-term stability •Easy-to-use, flexible controller/drivers •Ultra-high vacuum versions Ultra Compact Design The two Tiny Picomotor actuators that allow remote adjustment of the tip and tilt axes add only 0.5 in. of depth to these 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) diameter optical mounts. The Pint-Sized Picomotor Optical Mounts are fully compatible with the posts, pedestals, and mounts you already own. Ultra-High Vacuum Version The 8885 Pint-Sized Picomotor Optical Mount is available in an ultra-high vacuum compatible version which can be used in UHV (10-9 Torr) environments, eliminating virtual leaks and utilizing materials with low outgassing properties. Featuring Kapton leads, the mount can be used in vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) applications. Easy-to-Use, Flexible Picomotor Controllers Our Open-Loop Picomotor controllers and drivers are modular. You can daisy-chain up to 31 drivers together with four channels each, so you can have a network of up to 124 standard Picomotor actuators. You have two interface options with the controller system: hand pad or computer, both providing plug-and-play use. Alternatively, you may choose to use our TTL/Analog Picomotor driver.
