Description
The MR361 is a transmission system for SSI absolute encoders. The system consists of a fiber optic transmitter and a fiber optic receiver. The fiber optic transmitter converts the electrical data of a standard absolute rotary encoder with a synchronous serial interface (SSI) into optical signals. The receiver module converts the optical signals back into electrical SSI signals. The absolute values can be reliably transmitted up to 2000m via just one glass fiber.
