The Wilma is a wire laser alignment device from Microplan that is primarily used for straightness testing. It is placed in machine tools with a wire fixed with two supports at the extremities. It displays the eventual error though its LED display located at the top of the device.
This alignment device is also integrated with a digital micrometric table with reading to one thousandth that provides an exact data value. It can also store up to 200 values on its memory and allows data to be transferred in a PC with the RS-232 interface. An electronic sheet will then be generated showing a graphical figure of its straightness.
Furthermore, this device runs though rechargeable batteries and delivered with a 220 V- 50 hz battery charger. It also comes in a coil harmonic steel wire, a user manual, and the Wilma software.
