On top of this, the switch offers a level of security previously unheard of in this class based on Radius+, TACACS+ and Access Control List (ACL). All the functions can be configured via the integrated network management tool using SSH, HTTPS or SNMPv1/2/3. As it uses IPv6, the compact switch is also geared to future needs at protocol level. Its wide range of functions makes the compact switch not only suitable for companies and public authorities requiring a higher level of security but also for service providers. Flexible Quality of Service (QoS) and VLAN configurations as well as asymmetric rate limiting also make the switch the perfect device to have in any FTTx network. The compact Mini Switch has a total of 10 ports: Eight 10/100Base-TX ports for terminal devices and two Gigabit uplink ports. The Gigabit ports are dual media ports with standard 10/100/1000Base-T and can be upgraded to fiber optic ports using SFP modules.
