The nano ultrasonic sensor is a M12-threaded sleeve with a miniature housing that measures 55 mm. long (60 mm for the analogue sensor) including plug making it the shortest M12 ultrasonic sensor device available. It has a 1 Push-pull switching output with IO-Link and an analogue output of 4–20 mA or 0–10. The device can determine 2 ranges that measures 250 mm, 350 mm that are available with an analog or switching output. It also has a microsonic Teach-in on Pin 2. It can serve as a good replacement to inductive and capacitive sensors which is caused by a short blind zone of 20 mm only. It can work by requiring a great sensing/switching distance with high capability to reproduce.
