Linear actuators (LA) are electromechanical drive elements that transform the circular movement of the rotor shaft into a linear movement. This involves active positioning elements that allow many different movement, dosing and position sequences to be carried out in an optimal manner in the various areas. The term LA covers a variety of assemblies that are created by combining selected hybrid stepper motors and a standard range of mechanical transducer elements. The choice of thread pitch, motor-step angle and motor size can be used to influence the precision, speed and axial force in a wide area of applications. Various standard assemblies have been introduced on the basis of the structural design; their use is largely determined by the concrete application conditions.
