The MTM 120 series is a life spring mechanical seal developed by Microtem. It is mainly used for a wide range of applciations on heavy duty machines at medium pressure and in the presence of highly viscous liquid. This Double directional mechanical seal is supplied with single leaf spring and with compliance to DIN 24960 directive requirements. Its standard contact surface is built from silicon carbide SiC, tungsten carbide, aluminum oxide, carbographite impregnated with antimony, and carbographite impregnated with resin. The elastomer is also developed from FPM/Viton, EPDM, NBR, Kalrez, Radiaflon, and silicon materials. In addition, this single mechanical seal is equipped with stationary ring, elastomer stationary ring, rotary ring, elastomer rotary ring, body, blocking axis screw, and spring components.
