Application: inch clevis ends are typically assembled to the end of a rod, pipe, tube or cable linkage and are then attached via a clevis pin to a mounting point.
Attaching Hardware: Inch clevis spring pins, cotter pins, safety clips, etc. are available in volume.
Construction: Similar to DIN 71752.
Finish: plated zinc with a yellow dichromate treatment.
Material: low carbon steel.
Turnbuckle Option: consider using MCP's exclusive turnbuckle clevis to eliminate the need for left hand threads and to allow adjustment of linkage lengths after installation.
Cost Savings Tip: cost effective designs should always include the entire rod-nut-yoke assembly, as opposed to purchasing these components separately. Specify the use of clevis spring pins to reduce assembly costs.
