RMS is a pallet transfer system based on friction rollers and is designed for very high loads. These systems are used, among other things, for the assembly of gearboxes, car seats and engines. The workpiece carriers are moved by high-precision accumulation rollers, which are driven by a continuous tangential steel chain. The RMS-specific workpiece carriers are guided in the track by guide rollers fixed onto the side. The special shape of the workpiece carriers in conjunction with the patented DELTA deflector enables changes in direction to be achieved with the lowest possible control and drive costs. Special covers between the rollers make the transfer system accessible for service work from the inside of the system.
