This press-fit dipstick is constructed from zinc-plated round section steel and features a polyamide thermoplastic handle. It is delivered with two o-rings or one, depending on the model. Characteristics include good mechanical resistance, shock resistance and dimensional stability. The maximum working temperature is 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Standard length size of the dipstick is 183mm but on bulk orders of 250 pieces or more, the dipstick length can be custom cut and notches set to indicate the minimum and maximum oil levels. On the ALS model, a breather hole is provided in the shoulder of the handle. Also available upon request for certain quantities is a burnished or phosphate zinc surface as well as a blade-style level dipstick. The flexible dipstick is ideal for applications requiring the use of specially-shaped profiles.
