The MJK Expert™ 1400 hydrostatic level transmitter has a ceramic capacitive measuring system and built-in air pressure equalization. This makes it ideal for installation and measurements in water installations where high precision is important. This applies to areas such as sewer wells, hazardous areas and drinking water basins.
The level transmitter is developed and manufactured in Denmark, and Expert™ 1400 is ATEX and UL approved for worldwide installation in areas with potential explosion hazard. It is particularly popular in connection with water drilling and drinking water tanks - but often Expert™ 1400 is also used in process water.
The transmitter’s ceramic capacitive sensor has an accuracy of as little as +/- 0.1%. The transmitter is only 22mm in diameter, and is therefore often used in water wells, or on construction sites where the groundwater level must be monitored to prevent subsidence in adjacent buildings.

MJK Expert™ 1400 is UL-ATEX (zone 1) approved for safe installation in areas with explosion hazard - including sewer systems and sewer wells without good ventilation. The transmitter is constructed in stainless steel (AISL 316L), and measurements are done with a very precise ceramic capacitive sensor.
