Collimators, testing telescopes and autocollimators from Möller-Wedel Optical GmbH have established an excellent worldwide reputation with scientific institutes and leading manufacturers in the mechanical and plant engineering as well as in the optical industry for decades. This reputation is based on the high quality of these devices with an almost unlimited service life and the modular principle developed by Möller-Wedel Optical GmbH.
A collimator is a projector that images a reticle at a specific distance. Usually, imaging to infinity occurs at the wavelength 525 nm, but adjustment to finite distances or other wavelengths are also common and possible. Collimators are used in conjunction with test telescopes for angle measurement and angle adjustment.
Adjustable focus collimators with reticle turret provide 6 selectable reticles. The reticle turret allows a quick change of reticles for different measurement tasks. The distance between reticles and objective is adjustable.
