MULTIPURPOSE MIXER The MULTIPURPOSE MIXERS are ideal for many types of production processes. This range of mixers can be provided with a particular combination of mixing and dispersion blades as well as speed ranges, according to the characteristics of the product to be processed. The MOLTENI MULTIPURPOSE MIXERS are used for the mixing of medium to high viscosity products and whenever a very high degree of dispersion is required. A scraping anchor takes the product towards the disperser blades. The high power applied provides consistently good results in a very short process time. The adjustable speed transmission, either mechanically driven through a VFD (type MPM-E) or hydraulically driven (type MPM-H), provides always the necessary values of power and torque, apt to meet the required performances. The electronic control of the required power is a standard feature of the mechanically driven MOLTENI MULTIPURPOSE MIXERS, optimising production time and power saving (optional on hydraulically driven machines). The PLC controls allow the machine management as a stand-alone unit or as one of the machines to be linked to a main DCS / PC system which controls the whole production facility into which the Molteni multipurpose mixer is installed. The vacuum execution option eliminates the air in the product. ATEX explosion proof EEx-d execution is available for hazardous working areas.
